Why Laura?

Listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs. Each of us is unique. Your food should nourish your body and soul; stimulate all senses; be made with love and shared with joy.

I compassionately support the whole family to take charge of their health. I encourage people to fill their kitchens with healthy snack and meal options so that meal preparation becomes simpler and families can spend more quality time together.

My motto is “connection through nutrition”. Loneliness is an issue that contributes to declining health. My goal is to bring people together to share a healthy meal and inspire face-to-face conversation and connection.

Laura combines her love of children and family with her passion for holistic nutrition, healthy living and human connection. She uses her own family experience raising four healthy but food-sensitive children while caring for her aging parents to create manageable meal plans, to offer easy cooking lessons, and provide healthy time-saving tips for busy families.

Laura is an Honours graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family Science from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
